I'VE MOVED!!!

After a long time of going back and forth on starting a new blog, I've finally done it. I love that I have followers over here and I sure hope you all show up over there as well. I'll be posting the same kinds of things (obviously pictures) but I'll also be doing occasional tips for taking better pictures, choosing a nice camera, or finding a killer location. So, head over there and comment. It's nice to know that people are actually looking at my blog. :)

A Few Recent Favorites

It's been too long since you have all had the privilege of seeing my little cuties. As you know, they are my practice subjects. So, I took them to the same place I went in San Diego before I shot the Depwig family. I was SO excited to shoot the Depwigs after I shot some of my kids because there were so many great places to take pictures over there. So, that is where the first few are from.

I love this next picture. I don't know exactly why. I love the jammies. And I LOVE baby feet... But I can't place exactly WHY I love this particular picture so much.

Sea World. Again with the silouettes... I just can't get enough of them!!

More of the Whole Family

Here are more pictures of the entire Depwig family. They were SO much fun to work with. Aside from the complaining from the men... "We have to sit down AGAIN?!?!" :)

This is Chrissy. She just graduated from high school and is heading off to college next month. Remember how fun that part of life was? When you thought you had so much on your plate... if only we knew, right? Anyways, what a babe, huh? Sorry, boys, she's 17!

I love this one below. It makes me smile. The two girls accidentally kissed each other... one was suppose to kiss the other one on the cheek. :)

For Melissa

This is Melissa and her family. She is a friend of mine from High School. Man, you turn your head for a few years and she gets married and has a SIX year old!!!! I am going to post more pictures of the whole family but I wanted to assure Melissa that she does, in fact, look beautiful in the pictures. :) So, here are a few of Melissa and her little family mostly. Stay tuned for more of her sister and parents. Coming soon....

The Toronto Family

Tiffany is a good friend of mine from my neighborhood. It also just so happens that Jesse and Bryan served a little bit of their missions together. Small world. Their kids are (obviously) adorable. They were a lot of fun to shoot... even if Madison did give me a run for my money. That girl is FAST!!! They look pretty good for it being 110 degrees, right?!? Gotta love that sweet Arizona heat! :)

Here are a few more shots from Amber and Richard's wedding. I know there are a lot but honestly, I couldn't decide. There were so many fun shots. :)

A Little Preview for Mom

Amber, my sweet little bride has a mom on a mission. I promised Amber that I would try to get a few pictures on my blog for her to show her mom. (I mean, how many ways can you describe a fluffy white wedding dress??) So... here are a few. I PROMISE there are more to come but I have been SWAMPED with my own life so it may be a little bit. So, until then, hopefully this is enough to get you by, Amber! Oh, tell Richard I'm not giving him the shaft by not being in many of the pictures, but this day really IS all about the bride!!! ;)

Meet the Carlsons

Yesterday was a blast. I would first like to introduce Jared. He's BEYOND adorable. I seriously would have taken him home with me if his parents wouldn't have noticed. He was just living his cute carefree life when his mom had some babies...Aren't they darling??
Seriously! SO darling! I love newborns. I know what you're thinking. Wow... twins....
Now you're thinking, "there's another cute picture of the twins. They look different in that one, though..."

Go ahead.... I'll wait while you count the ruffle bums. Not convinced? Count the feet. Now divide by two. Same number of bums? Yep. That's right. They're 4 of them.... Susan, Anna, Bethany, and Brielle. FOUR!!! Anna and Bethany are identical (in the picture above they are the ones with the green and pink bows.)
So, sweet little Jared went from being an only child to having FOUR little sisters. He seems to be handling it like a champ. Just like his parents. They are so organized and calm. That is why God blessed them with FOUR babies and only gives me one at a time.
