I'VE MOVED!!!

After a long time of going back and forth on starting a new blog, I've finally done it. I love that I have followers over here and I sure hope you all show up over there as well. I'll be posting the same kinds of things (obviously pictures) but I'll also be doing occasional tips for taking better pictures, choosing a nice camera, or finding a killer location. So, head over there and comment. It's nice to know that people are actually looking at my blog. :)

The Crosby Family

A few days ago I got to take pictures of this beautiful family. The kids definitely made me work for the money but they were SO much fun and had a really great family dynamic. It was a blast meeting them and even more fun taking pictures of them. We even had to jump off the railroad tracks to let this train pass by.

I LOVE this shot of Jesse and Erica. It's so playful and you can definitely tell they are still into each other after years of marriage.

Just a Little Preview

I don't really know why, but both of these pictures just cracked me up. You can tell when these kids DON'T want to do something. I love it!! More to come in the near future.

By the way, what a bueatiful family, huh? I'm pretty sure I have crushes on all three of these boys.

Lots O' Pictures

I can't help it. I know there are FAR too many pictures posted here but you have to understand, this is Kelly and her family. Kelly is my sister (obviously, older;)). So, I love her... and her husband, Robby, and the Ladies. You have seen pictures of the Ladies before on here if you are a faithful reader. (In other words, if you are my Grandma.) I just love the Ladies. They are basically my kids. Our kids spend TONS of time together and can't get enough of each other.

I use to think that I was the favorite Aunt. A few weeks ago, the Ladies were over playing. It had been a fun evening. We had played in the backyard, caught lizards, made and decorated sugar cookies, made a fort out of the kitchen table, and sang and danced to EVERY Disney princess song I know. And when I sing and dance I make a COMPLETE fool out of myself to get the kids to laugh. Anyways, the evening was coming to a close and I was painting their nails. Abby quietly said to me, "Aunt Jenny, you know who my favorite aunt is?" I politely said, "Who, Abs?" thinking that quite obviously it was yours truly. "Aunt Abby," she says. (Kevin's wife.) I was SPEECHLESS! I mean, she's really cool, but did you read the list of things I did with them? I know she's the favorite because she has that blasted cute red headed baby. Dang her. So, I am thinking in my head, "Well, that sucks but at least I'm Gracie's favorite." Then Grace says, "Aunt Jenny, do you want to know who MY favorite Aunt is?" "Who Grace?" "Aunt Hillary." WHAT?!? Seriously? I love my sister-in-laws but I am WAY MORE FUN! (Yeah, you two, you heard me!) It wasn't even prompted. I didn't even ASK who the favorite aunt was! SO LAME! Good thing they're cute and irresistible or we would have serious issues going on.
Anyways, pictures... enjoy.

The Stanek Family

Jocelyn is one of my VERY favorite people in the world. She is beyond wonderful. Her family is seriously so darling from her cute hubby (who takes my teasing in stride) to her littlest guy (who she SWEARS doesn't high light his hair. So, enjoy these pictures, Joc!

I LOVE this next picture!

Who says white people can't jump? Check them out!

The kids begged me the entire time to take a picture of them with their hoods on... Cute, huh?

What a Fun Day!

While running from the invisible train, Carter lost his shoe. I went back to retrieve it.
I went out again with Janelle, one of my photography friends. I have been wanting to try out this
new place and I knew Janelle had been looking for a few new places as well so I called her to see if she was up for a morning out. I brought Carter along for someone to shoot and she brought her little girl Ashley. We had so much fun... aside from "almost" getting hit by a train (Don't worry, we were in no danger and I'm sure looked like complete idiots to anyone watching) and allowing our children to play in broken beer bottles. But we are all home, safe and sound without any Hepatitis or anything! :)

One of the the funnest things about doing thiings like this is being able to do funky editing. As you can see, I had some fun.
