I'VE MOVED!!!

After a long time of going back and forth on starting a new blog, I've finally done it. I love that I have followers over here and I sure hope you all show up over there as well. I'll be posting the same kinds of things (obviously pictures) but I'll also be doing occasional tips for taking better pictures, choosing a nice camera, or finding a killer location. So, head over there and comment. It's nice to know that people are actually looking at my blog. :)

Madison and Alexis

These two cuties are one of my good friend's little girls. Shenna (Mommy) and I went to New Zealand together then were roommates down here after we graduated. She is beyond wonderful and I love her to pieces. Her girls are just as cute. This is her Father's Day present for their Daddy (who they both look JUST like.) Shen, I hope you like them!!

The Big Day...

The big day finally came for Shilo and Ryan. It was so fun to be there for the party. It was also fun because I got to know some of Bryan's old high school friends. Shilo and Bryan hung out a lot in high school so both of Shilo's best friends from high school were at the wedding. Here are a few of my personal faves from the evening. All the sisters... don't ask. It's a family thing.

Charlie's Angels. I saw them doing this when they were in high school in the video Shilo had playing and I thought how fun it would be to do it again... how times have changed! Valora is pregnant (with her FIFTH!!), it's Shilo's wedding day, and Amy is making cakes (see below) and has two little ones of her own. But they still got it goin' on!I told the girls to get excited over Shilo's ring. This shot was "take two" because the first one wasn't good enough for me. They did better this time! It made me giggle.

CUTEST flower girl!!
Who is that handsome devil!?!

What a beautiful cake!!

Seriously, those eyes...

People comment on Addilyn's eyes a lot. I never really know how to take the comments, though. It's always, "Wow, look at those EYES!" I mean, are they saying a) "Gee, pretty eyes." or b) "Holy, crap, your kid looks like E.T.!" I have decided I don't really care which way they mean it... because every time I look at this little girl with those ginormously huge eyeballs, my heart melts on the spot. I can't believe that some day she will be a teenager that makes less than wise choices. Every time I want to kill her, ground her, make her change her clothes or take off all the make-up, I just need to remember how incredibly darling she USE to be, with those big innocent eyes. Don't they just melt you, too?

The Totty Family

Amy Totty has become a friend of mine because she works at the scrapbooking store that I am in WAY too often. I LOVE her class (Easy Peasy), too. Her family is FULL of personality and I really admire how she lets her children express themselves. (note the mohawk!!) They were a lot of fun to work with and I'm glad that I was able to be the bossy one and she could at least attempt to relax. :)

Oh, to be 18 Again!

For my sister-in-law's graduation gift, I took pictures of her and her two best friends. It was really fun (despite being on my death bed!!) They were great sports and did all the dorky things I asked them to do. It made me want to be young again (not that I'm an old fart, but...). To have no worries but to think that the weight of the world is resting on your shoulders. Wouldn't it be great to have the biggest worry of your day be whether or not you should wear this pair of shoes or that pair of shoes?

SHUT UP!!!

Yesterday my nieces had their FIRST EVER dance recital. While I could NOT believe some of the things the older girls were wearing (or that their parents were ok with the gyrating going on on stage), the littler girls were BEYOND adorable!!!! Grace (on the left) and Abby (right in the black and white photo) were hysterical in their dance. Seriously, I had tears running down my face as they "danced" t0 "Bippity, Boppity, Boo." I will never in my life forget that dance and can't wait for their next recital. I would pay $100 per ticket to watch that again!!!
(Abby on the left below and Grace on the right)AbbyGraceRobby did the "Daddy" dance. It was REALLY funny!! (Again, I would pay &100 to watch that again!) It ended with the Ladies joining him on stage. SOOOOOOO DARLING!!!
